As the manager on Checkout, you will be part of the core engineering team at Amazon building the underlying checkout platform used by hundreds of millions of customers across the world everyday. Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
* Equivalent experience to a Bachelor's degree based on 3 years experience for every 1 year of education
* 2+ years experience providing technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle
* Solid knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm design)
* Proficiency in, at least, one mainstream programming language such as Java or C++
* Experience with Agile methodologies, OO modeling, web services, and distributed systems
