Part time cashier/sales associate position at our Verona Thrift Store, located at 513 W. Verona Ave. Availability MUST include weekends. This is a part-time nights and weekends position - must be available Saturday & Sunday - although you may not have to work both days. We also have a weekend only cashier position available.
Job summary:
This employee will be a key member of the Thrift Store team, focused on service to the customers, clients and donors, cashiering and restocking merchandise as well as handling donations.
Primary duties:
-Provide customer and donor assistance throughout the store: answer questions, anticipate customer's needs, offer help, and encourage sales
-Operate cash register
-Restock merchandise on floor
-Keep merchandise clean and in the most salable condition
-Maintain dressing rooms, keeping them neat and clean
Essential requirements:
-Punctual and work required shifts consistently
-Able to lift up to 35lbs regularly
-Able to deal with the public in a friendly and courteous manner
-Capable of performing all job functions, including sales work, cashiering, and managing softlines department.

10-20 hours per week. $15.75 per hour to start and $16.25 after 6 months. We close at 7pm starting so you never really have to work that late in the evening. A set schedule is often provided to associates to help with work life balance. Shifts start at 10am to7:30pm Monday - Saturday. Most shifts are 4 or 5 hours. On Sunday the shifts are 9-5:30 or 11-5:30.
YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION.
