Immediate work to begin for Welders with ARMOR WELDING experience. We are 15 welders short on a mission critical project in LePeer, Michigan in support of our key defense client. Failure is not an option. Your resume should reflect 3-5 years’ experience at a minimum.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• I.G / T.I.G. welding as required.
• Tack welding as required
• Read & interpret blueprints.
• Set-up metal fabricating equipment as required.
• Must pass test plate requirements for any process required
• Performs metal fabricating duties; {ensuring traceable & correct material is being used, selecting appropriate welding equipment & wire}.
• Monitors equipment and performs routine maintenance as needed.
• Weld only to specifications that you have been qualified / certified to weld.
• Maintain clean, orderly and safe work area at all times.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety.
• Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with regulations.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
