POSITION SUMMARY

The Coach Electrical Technician position is responsible for performing electrical system programming, wiring, hookups and troubleshooting related to all of our coaches including electric vehicles.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Install, repair and maintain electrical systems on electrical vehicle coaches.
  • Commission electric vehicle coaches
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues on electric vehicle coaches including identifying and rectifying electrical circuits, systems and controls.
  • Install and route electrical wiring, conduits and cables to connect equipment and systems.
  • Ensure proper organization and labelling of wiring.
  • Read electrical drawings/schematics
  • Program coaches
  • Test electrical functions of coaches - lights, diagnostics, etc.


WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience working with electrical systems is required.
  • Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment (bending, twisting, stretching, kneeling, squatting, push/pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for extended periods, working in confined spaces).
  • Demonstrated ability to focus on details to ensure quality is maintained at all times.
  • Must have good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity, along with the to use hand, air & power tools such as Ohm Meter, solder guns etc.
  • Well-developed communication skills, both oral and written
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems individually or as a team member and implement effective solutions.
