The Senior Treasury Operations Analyst assists coordinating, communicating, and instructing on all products and updates related to treasury operations, business deposit accounts and business online banking. Collaboration is required between this position and Deposit and Card Servicing, the Senior Treasury Management Sales Officer, Retail Offices, Digital Banking, and Business Banking regarding operation, use and on-going education of treasury management systems.
Drives innovation and excellence through the promotion, use and implementation of business products and services that best fit the principles of high standards at Gate City Bank.
Proactively determine the treasury and business products and services that need to be updated or implemented to align with market trends.
Work closely with the Senior Treasury Management Sales Officer and Treasury Operations Supervisor to prioritize projects and process improvements.
In collaboration with Senior Treasury Management Sales Officer and Treasury Operations Supervisor, assist with the review, selection and installation of new business online banking and treasury management products and services.
Identifies solutions and efficiencies to improve treasury and business operations and improve customer and/or team member experience.
In collaboration with Senior Treasury Management Sales Officer, assist in the creation and maintenance of policies, procedures, and risk assessments regarding business deposit accounts, online banking, business and treasury management products and services.
In collaboration with Senior Treasury Management Sales Officer, maintain knowledge of current accounts, non- insured products, treasury management services/products, online banking and answer business customer inquiries over the phone or in person. Responsible for compliance of all business products and services.
Assist in the coordination the set-up, maintenance process, agreements for treasury management services with Deposit and Card Servicing, Digital Banking and Business Banking.
Completes reviews and audits of treasury products and provide operational reporting.
In the absence of a supervisor, is responsible for overseeing Treasury and Business Operations
Serves as a resource for the department by providing guidance on Treasury and Business Operations and by providing feedback to leadership on the performance of other team members within the department.
Demonstrates the ability to perform duties with limited or minimal supervision.
Trains new team members in Business and Treasury Management Operations and serves as a mentor/coach to team members.
Provide a "Wow" customer service experience for team members and customers.
Develop and maintain productive relationships with team members, leaders, customers, and vendors.
Prompt and reliable attendance is essential in order to provide expected levels of service.
Must comply with all Gate City Bank policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
Must be detailed-oriented and maintain high degree of accuracy.
Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; 5 or more years previous related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Interpret and use data for decision making.
