Levridge is looking for a highly motivated, client centric but detail-oriented Accountant with a keen business sense to join our team! The Accountant will be responsible for leading the accounting and financial functions across the Levridge business, assisting in making educated economic decisions and executing financial related business processes and tasks. This individual should be comfortable with a variety of day-to-day accounting tasks, basic to complex. The Accountant will be a key contributor to the continued development and growth of our industry-shaping IP business.
A Day in the Life
    • Execute month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring they are completed in a timely and accurate manner
    • Prepare operational financial reports, including weekly cash flow statements, monthly financial statements and financial reviews
    • Manage bank reconciliation, Avatax reconciliation, capitalization/amortization workbook, deferring of licensing revenue, and reconciliation of balance sheet and GL accounts
    • Administer accounts receivable process, including customer and project setup/maintenance, cash application, weekly invoicing, monthly licensing, and collections
    • Manage accounts payable and payment processes
    • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
    • Manage timesheet process as well as enter subcontractor time and invoices
    • Participate in monthly product licensing reviews with the Sales team
    • Handle complex account reconciliations and resolve financial discrepancies
    • Maintain accurate working papers
    • Develop and test internal controls
    • Manage tax preparation, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and supporting tax audits
    • Assist in external and internal financial reviews, ensuring compliance with applicable standards
    • Collaborate with all levels of the organization as well as Stoneridge Software business partners
    • Collaborate with Internal IT Reporting, Sales and Leadership to continuously improve financial reporting
    • Contribute to the development of financial strategies and provide insight for decision-making
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
    • Lead process improvement initiatives
    • Stay up to date with GAAP and any changes impacting the business

Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field required
    • 2-5+ years of hands-on accounting experience
    • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC and FASB, federal and state income taxes
    • CPA certification preferred
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • High technical capacity
    • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
    • Ability to work in a high paced environment
    • Ability to work together as a team in the best interests of the organization as well as independently when needed

      This position is available on a REMOTE basis in the United States.

      Travel Required: Incumbent is expected to periodically meet with internal teams across the United States and may be asked to attend Levridge and/or Stoneridge team events from time to time.

Compensation
    • Our philosophy is to provide compensation that is Competitive, Equitable, and Driven by Performance. Various factors impact our pay ranges including market conditions and national salary data. To determine competitive salaries within this range we consider candidates skills, qualifications, and experience. These are national ranges, inclusive of bonus opportunities and could represent multiple role levels.

    • US (USD): $60,400 - $75,800
