Community Options is looking for a highly motivated Medical Coordinator to work with our Residential Services team. As a Medical Coordinator with Community Options, your role is to coordinate and monitor medication administration procedures for services provided to clients. You will work closely with the Residential Services team to main various medical documentation including upkeep and creation of MARs, working in THERAP, coordination and communication with medical providers, pharmacies, clinics, etc.

The salary for this position is $18 - $21 an hour depending on experience (DOE).

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Require a high school diploma or GED, and 2 years of related experience, i.e., developmental disabilities (DD) services, medical, or a related field-defined hiring manager. An associate degree may be used instead of 2 years' work experience. CNA/ LPN licensure is preferred but not required.
  • Access to working mobile phone (iPhone/ Android)
  • CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain successfully during new hire training period
  • A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance for the vehicle subject to the statute of the licensing state and the ability to travel based on operational and clientele needs
  • Successfully pass a criminal background check, including Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), drug screening, and ND Department of Human Service (DHS) pre-employment approval
  • Completion of training as required by Community Options
