ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Duties
* Wash dishes, pots and utensils.
* Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
* Empty and clean all trash receptacles
* Follow sanitation policies at all times
* Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
* Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
* Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party
* Take temperature of Dish Machine
* Clean Dish Machine - clean grease dispenser daily.
Essential Duties
* Must be able to follow directions
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
* High School Degree preferred Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
* Minimum of one (1) year preferred in the food industry
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE
* Strong commitment to high level of service and quality standards
* Ability to plan and organize
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
* Strong sense of urgency; self-directed
* Ability read and understand labels and instructions, particularly regarding food safety and food hygiene
procedures
* Experience stocking the highly perishable goods away from the stable goods, to avoid cross
contamination.

The noise level in the environment can be loud depending on what kitchen machinery is in use.
