Kalitta Air is seeking a dedicated Ground Support Mechanic Helper in Oscoda, Michigan. This role will assist mechanics in aircraft maintenance and repairs while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.

• Assist mechanics in the repair or alteration of aircraft articles and components.
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately in English, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Read and understand technical documentation to support maintenance activities.

• High school diploma required; college or technical school training is a plus.
• Proficiency in English for writing reports and giving clear instructions.
• Strong ability to work with mechanics to ensure efficient and safe operations.

• Frequently required to reach, stand, walk, talk, and handle tools or objects.
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, kneel, stoop, or crawl.
• Able to lift and move objects exceeding 50 pounds.

• Maintenance setting with loud noise levels.
• Safety toe boots/shoes and basic hand tools/drill/driver are required.
